Event Information

• Athletes may attend any, or all of the meet’s listed.
• Any additional information about the meets will be posted as it becomes available from the Meet Conveners and will be discussed at practices and emailed once the athlete commits to the meet.
• Athletes wishing to compete in any meet must inform Coach Jan by the deadline outlined for each meet. 
• Parents will be responsible to register and pay the fees for any meet their child is interested in competing in.  The club will provide assistance to parents in regards to the registration process.
• It is the parent’s responsibility to transport their son/daughter to the meets.
• Coach Jan will be attending the meets listed to coach athletes competing.

Friday May 8, 2026

• St. Joseph - Scollard Hall on Cundari Field
• High school athletes must compete for their school’s team if they are a member of their high school track & field program.
• The club’s younger athletes (grades 5, 6, 7, and 8) may compete in the Novice Category which is the youngest category in the high school age divisions (grade 9 – 14 years). 
• The registration cost is $5.00 per event.
• Novice Events:  80m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Pole Vault (open – grades 9 to 12)
• Deadline to register with Coach Jan for this meet is Monday May 4, 2026.

Friday May 15, 2026

• This meet begins at 3:00 pm and ends at approximately 6:30 pm. 
• Grade 7 and up.
• It is held at the Laurentian University Track in Sudbury.
• Events  100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 4 X 100m 
• Entry Deadline: May 14th at noon (12pm), 2026

Saturday June 13, 2026

• Laurentian University Track
• This is the primary meet we are training for.
• U16 and U18 athletes could qualify to be part of the District H Team for the Legion Provincial meet on July 10th -11th and the Ontario Summer Games from July 31st to August 1st 2026. Qualification is done by selection committee.

• U12 Events (born 2015, or later)
• 80m, 2150m, 300m, 800m, 1200m, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put

• U14 Events (born 2013 and 2014)
• 80m, 150m, 300m, 800m, 1200m, 2000m, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Javelin, Discus

• U16 Events (born 2011 and 2012)
• 80m hurdles (women), 100m hurdles (men), 200m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 300m, 800m, 1200m, 2000m, 1500m steeple chase, pole vault, triple jump, long jump, high jump, javelin, shot put, discus.  

• U18 Events (born 2009 and 2010)
• 100m hurdles (women), 110m hurdles (men), 400m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 2000 steeple chase, pole vault, triple jump, long jump, high jump, javelin, discus, shot put.

• Deadline to register for this meet is Wednesday June 10, 2026.

• This meet begins at 6:00 pm and ends at approximately 8:00 pm. 
• It is held at the Laurentian University Track in Sudbury.

Wednesday July 8, 2026

• This meet begins at 6:00 pm and ends at approximately 8:00 pm.

Friday & Saturday July 10 - 11, 2026

• This meet is being held at Laurentian University Track – Sudbury.
• Must be selected by selection committee to compete at the meet. The qualifying meet is the District H meet in Sudbury on Saturday June 13, 2026.
