Schedules for the meets will be posted on the Club’s website as they come available.
Any additional information about the meets will be discussed at practices and emailed once the athlete commits to the meet.
Spring program athletes wishing to compete in any of the following meets must inform Coach Jan by the deadline outlined for each meet.
The NBLTC coaching staff will enter the athletes in the events they wish to compete in.
It is the parent’s responsibility to transport their son/daughter to the meets.
Nipissing Invitational
St. Joseph’s / Scollard Hall, Cundari Field
Friday May 10th, 2024.
The high school athletes will be with their school’s team.
The club’s younger athletes (grades 5, 6, 7, and 8) may compete in the Novice Category which is the youngest category in the high school age divisions (grade 9 – 14 years).
Novice Events: 80m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Pole Vault (open – grades 9 to 12)
Deadline to register with Coach Jan for this meet is Monday May 6th, 2024.
U16 and U18 athletes could qualify to be part of the District H Team for the Legion Provincial meet in July. Qualification is done by selection committee. More details to come.
U14 and U16 athletes could qualify to be a part of the Zone 8 Team for the Ontario Summer Games meet in August. Qualification is done by selection committee. If interested in being selected for this team athletes must fill out the athlete declaration form here prior to the deadline of June 15 at 6 pm
