Event Information

• Schedules for the meets will be posted on the Club’s website as they come available.  
• Any additional information about the meets will be discussed at practices and emailed once the athlete commits to the meet.
• Spring program athletes wishing to compete in any of the following meets must inform Coach Jan by the deadline outlined for each meet.  
• Parents of spring program athletes are required to submit the entry fee costs to the NBLTC before the athlete is entered.
• The NBLTC coaching staff will enter the athletes in the events they wish to compete in.
• It is the parent’s responsibility to transport their son/daughter to the meets.

• St. Joseph’s / Scollard Hall, Cundari Field
• Friday May 12th, 2023.  
• The high school athletes will be with their school’s team.  
• The club’s younger athletes (grades 5, 6, 7, and 8) may compete in the Novice Category which is the youngest category in the high school age divisions (grade 9 – 14 years).  
• The registration cost is $5.00 per event.
• Novice Events:  80m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Pole Vault (open – grades 9 to 12)
• Deadline to register with Coach Jan for this meet is Tuesday May 9th, 2023.

• Laurentian University Track
• Saturday June 24th, 2023. 
• Entry fee is $5.00 per event.
• Athletes could qualify for the Legion Provincial meet out of the District H meet on July 7-8 in Brampton. Qualification is done by selection committee.  More details to follow.

• U12 Events (born 2012, or later)
• 100m, 200m, 300m, 800m, 1200m, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put

• U14 Events (born 2010 and 2011)
• 100m, 200m, 300m, 800m, 1200m, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put

• U16 Events (born 2008 and 2009)
• 80m hurdles (women), 100m hurdles (men), 200m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 300m, 800m, 1200m, 2000m, 1500m steeple chase (no water), pole vault, triple jump, long jump, high jump, javelin, shot put, discus.  

• U18 Events (born 2006 and 2007)
• 100m hurdles (women), 110m hurdles (men), 400m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 2000 steeple chase(with water), pole vault, triple jump, long jump, high jump, javelin, discus, shot put.  

• Deadline to register with Coach Jan for this meet is Sunday June 18th, 2023.

Wednesday June 28th, 2023

• This meet begins at 6:00 pm and ends at approximately 8:00 pm. 
• It is held at the Laurentian University Track in Sudbury.
• All events will be run as “Open”.  This means that races will be organized to include racers of similar abilities, and not only by age and/or gender.
• All events, including the 100m, will be run as “Timed Finals”.
• Entry Deadline: June 27th at 6 pm

Track Schedule:

• 6:00 pm - 800m
• 6:15 pm - 100m
• 6:45 pm - 3000m
• 7:00 pm - 200m
• 7:30 pm – 400m

Field Schedule:

• 6:30 pm - Triple Jump

Event Fee’s (maximum 3 events):

• 1st event: $8
• 2nd event: $7
• 3rd event: $5

Payment for events via E-transfer to admin@nbltc.ca must be received by the entry deadline in order for us to register the athletes.
